PASSAGE HOLES

Q-14:   How can I make passage holes through the wall without damaging the forms?

A-14:   The EZ-Ply® system has clips which can hold 'sacraficial' lumber in place.  The sacraficial piece is cut to accept conduits, piping or other types of block-outs without damaging the HDO plywood.  Small holes, up to 1 inch in diameter are repaired with hardwood dowel sections.   To avoid re-bar dowel holes altogether check out the Form Saver (more information).

Here the worker is sliding a piece of plywood in place which will be cut to allow electrical conduits to pass through the wall.
